Role Overview

Data Engineers design and maintain the data infrastructure that enables analytics, machine learning and AI applications.

This role ensures data is reliable, accessible, secure and usable for business and technical teams.

Alternative Job Titles

Build batch and real-time data pipelines for collection, processing, storage and consumption.

Design data models, warehouses, lakes or lakehouse architectures according to business needs.

Implement data quality checks, lineage, access control and monitoring.

Partner with data scientists and ML engineers to provide feature data and training datasets.

Hard-skills

Proficient in SQL, Python/Scala/Java and data processing frameworks such as Spark or Flink.
Experience with cloud data services, Kafka, orchestration tools and data modelling.

Education & Training

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related fields.
Experience in large-scale data platform projects is preferred.
