Job Description - AI Platform Architect

Role Overview

AI Platform Architects define the technical foundation that enables teams to build, deploy and govern AI products at scale.

The role covers compute, storage, model lifecycle, data access, security and developer experience.

Alternative Job Titles

Define platform architecture for training, inference, model management and AI application development.

Select technologies for compute clusters, orchestration, storage, observability and security.

Establish standards for reusable components, APIs, SDKs and deployment patterns.

Partner with data, security, infrastructure and product teams to support AI delivery.

Hard-skills

Expertise in cloud/native infrastructure, Kubernetes, distributed systems and MLOps.
Understanding of GPU scheduling, model serving, feature stores and data platforms.

Education & Training

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing or related fields.
Experience building enterprise-scale AI or data platforms is preferred.
