Job Description - Computer Vision Engineer

Role Overview

Computer Vision Engineers build AI systems that understand images, videos and visual signals.

The role is widely used in manufacturing, autonomous driving, retail, security, healthcare and robotics.

Alternative Job Titles

Develop models for detection, segmentation, recognition, tracking, OCR or visual inspection.

Define data collection, annotation and augmentation strategies for visual datasets.

Optimise models for edge devices, GPUs or cloud deployment based on latency and accuracy requirements.

Work with hardware, robotics or application teams to integrate vision algorithms into products.

Hard-skills

Proficient in Python/C++, OpenCV and deep learning frameworks.
Experience with CNNs, transformers, object detection, segmentation and model compression.

Knowledge of cameras, sensors, image processing and deployment optimisation is preferred.

Education & Training

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Automation, Electronic Engineering, Robotics or related fields.
Experience in industrial inspection, autonomous driving, medical imaging or robotics is preferred.
