Main Responsibilities
The Head of Digital has a wide range of tasks, starting with the development and implementation of a global digital action plan. To do this, they work closely with senior management and the IT Department. They may implement mobile applications, IT solutions and so on.
The Head of Digital rolls out projects internally to the various departments: HR, marketing and communications. He or she is required to work with and train project managers and their teams.
In addition, the Head of Digital creates precise models for measuring performance and a tailor-made execution plan. He or she is also responsible for defining the budget and allocating it in such a way as to achieve the objectives set.
The job of Head of Digital requires regular monitoring of the digital field and the company's business sector. This job also includes team management tasks, as this manager is in charge of both marketing and technical teams. The Head of Digital may report to UI designers, developers or analyst-programmers.
