Main Responsibilities
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing the company's HR policies and programmes. Key responsibilities include recruitment and selection, training and development, talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations and legal compliance.
In recruitment and selection, the HRR is involved in identifying staffing needs, drafting and circulating job advertisements, selecting candidates, conducting interviews and making the final decision.
HR Managers design and implement programmes to develop skills and improve staff performance.
Within the company, the Human Resources Manager identifies and develops talent by putting in place succession programmes, career plans and skills development initiatives.
In terms of remuneration and benefits, the HR Manager manages the company's remuneration policy, including salaries, pay, bonuses and benefits, ensuring that they are competitive in the labour market.
The Human Resources Manager's job is to manage interactions with employee representatives, facilitate the negotiation of collective agreements and act as a mediator to resolve conflicts and problems.
Lastly, the HR Manager must ensure that the company complies with the laws and regulations on employment law, health and safety, protection of privacy and so on.
