Product Manager

Role overview

The role of a Product Manager is to manage the life cycle of commercial offers, by regularly evaluating all the products and services to be offered on the market. To do this, they carry out and coordinate market research to ensure that the overall sales strategy is consistent. This constant monitoring of market developments is an effective way of proposing attractive offers. The aim is to meet customers' needs and find ways of improving offers to stand out from the competition.

A Product Manager works with a company's sales and production teams, supporting them from the design stage of a project right through to product launch. Their work varies according to the size of the company. In large companies, he or she may be responsible for operational marketing, which involves promoting products to different sales targets and also establishing product design methods.

Mastery of several digital marketing techniques and tools is essential for this position. The Product Manager is responsible for designing a media plan as well as a marketing plan to bring a product to market.
