Role Overview
The UI Designer (User Interface Designer) is a graphic design professional who specialises in creating and designing effective and attractive user interfaces for mobile applications, digital platforms and websites. Their role is to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that meet users' needs while reflecting the company's brand and visual identity.
To achieve this, the UI Designer works closely with the UX Designers (User Experience Designers), developers and marketing managers to define the needs and objectives of the project. While the UX Designer focuses on the user experience, the UI Designer works on the design, visual appearance and graphic rendering of an interface. They design each page and ensure that the visuals are consistent with the "user path" created by the UX Designer.
The UI Designer uses a variety of design tools, such as Sketch, Figma and Adobe XD, to create user interface designs that incorporate the latest trends in design and functionality. He also works with front-end development tools such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript to ensure that designs are implemented correctly on the web.
As well as creating visual designs, the UI Designer is also responsible for creating detailed technical specifications for the developers and for quality assurance of the final user interfaces. They must be able to work effectively in a team, communicate their ideas clearly and listen to the needs and comments of other team members.
In short, the role of the UI Designer is to transform ideas into effective and attractive designs that enhance the user experience and reinforce the company's brand.
