MAKING SUCCESS STORIES HAPPEN

JOB DESCRIPTION

UX Designer

Role Overview

The mission of the UX Designer, or User Experience Designer, is to create and optimise effective and enjoyable user interfaces and experiences for digital platforms and products such as websites, mobile applications and software.

The UX Designer improves the user experience by designing intuitive and ergonomic digital interfaces, taking into account accessibility, visibility and credibility criteria. They therefore play a major role in the success of a product or service. Based on technical standards defined by the developers, they organise the graphic and textual elements that make up the interface. The UX Designer works to create a user-friendly, accessible interface that will help brands or companies achieve their commercial and marketing objectives. Beyond the product offered, UX is about the relationship between the user and the brand/customer.

In the midst of a digital transformation, companies of all sizes, whatever their sector of activity, are aware of the need to optimise everything they do, from the business applications they use internally to their processes and the browsing experience on their website.

The role of the UX Designer often ends with the study of the user experience. A UI Designer (User Interface) then takes over to design the product interface. However, in some companies, these two jobs (UX/UI Design) can be assigned to the same person or the same team, as long as their tasks complement each other.
