The Grid of Tomorrow: A Conversation with Pixii on Modular Energy Storage, AI, and Building Resilient Power Infrastructure in a Shifting Geopolitical Landscape

To discuss the future of energy infrastructure, Mark Jensen travelled to Oslo, Norway, to meet with Kenneth Bodahl, Chief Business Development Officer at Pixii.

From there, they continued on to Bodahl’s hidden gem, a cabin on the outskirts of Drammen, where the interview took place.

The setting felt appropriate: a conversation about resilience and self-sufficiency, held somewhere shaped by both. Few topics are as charged right now as electricity, how to produce it, store it, and secure it, as countries increasingly prioritize their own supply, debate the balance between renewable, green, and traditional energy sources, and face rising consumption driven by AI.

Over the course of their conversation, Jensen and Bodahl explored all of it: the technology behind it, the geopolitics shaping it, and what true energy resilience will require going forward.
